Unleash... on women!

You know, pornography can be rather insidious. Not only is it insidious, but now it is almost warmly accepted as just "the way things are."

The other day in my research I stumbled across a site that attests to what I just wrote last week from Paul's Pornified. If a man at any time feels down, angry, frustrated, emasculated, lonely, sad, slighted, ignored, rejected, he is a few clicks away from "feeling all better."

The site is... dare I say it... because free advertising is not really what I want to be in the game of here. Anyway, the place's site for free porn clips (substantial porn clips... anywhere from a few minutes to 30) has the most telling tagline ever. And here it is...

"Unleash Your Daily Anger"

That's right men... You are entitled to feel better. Why shouldn't you? All you have to do to feel better about yourself is to watch big, strong, manly men "stick it women". Over and over again, for free.

K, You're watching more pornography than I am...... ;)

I did give your blog a "hat tip" in a recent unrelated post over on my website: Blind Prejudice. I'd like to think that I might bring a little more traffice to your blog. I think you're talking about important things.

Why, thank you so much, Wizard.

If it were not for a precious few, I would feel so utterly alone.

Ahhhh K, at the great risk of getting myself in trouble (again) with our mutual friends on the "swift-savage-vigil" political front, I simply must suggest you link over to an extremely iroic and funny post by see-dubya over on the (much hated and reviled) Michelle Malkin website: Whom to root against? CAIR sues Abercrombie & Fitch

No company has done more to promote the "pornification of America" than Abercrombie & Fitch. To have Muslims sue them because they won't allow a clerk to wear a hijab is the ultimate irony.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Hmmmmm..... Saturday Surfing and reading..... I'm actually forced to be at work, but it's really.... really... slow.

So I click on a link in the article I just recommended to you and what did I find? You have a strong ally in a most unexpected place, Michelle Malkin herself. Check out this post and all the related side posts. Standing up to the ‘Girls Gone Wild’ culture

Wizard, I'm shocked. I agree with most of Malkin's article (and I say this with absolute shock), but I vehemently disagree with her prejudice characterization of liberals.

When liberals won’t shut up about their sordid sex lives and we object, they call us rude. When liberal women raise their voices, they are praised as “passionate.” When conservative women raise their voices, we are condemned as “shrill.”

This is an issue on which both progressives and conservatives and Malkin, as usual, raises bigotry against those of us who might be willing to work with her in a bipartisan effort to stand against those who see emaciation as beauty.

Wizard, a good speech undermined. I so enjoyed this, but why did she have to end such excellent points with hatred?

I'll bet K could have done a much better job on that speech...

Stella, you are, of course, 100% correct. This isn't a conservative or a liberal issue and Malkin was off base in her attack on liberals (especially considering all the recent sexcapades involving terribly hypocitical conservatives).

Yet her major points are spot on correct and empowering to women.

K., I continue to believe there is a solution and the empowerment of women is at its core. It seems to me that telling ten year old girls they don't have to dress in sexually provocative garb is a good place to start.

Stella, a question we might need to ask is where are the progressive leaders on this issue? Here's where Malkin isn't wrong. Can you imagine for one minute a liberal or progressive leadder organizing a fashion show for 10 year olds that tells them real women don't need to prostitute their bodies?

Hi K and Wizard: I think you'll like this Alternet article about Dr. Rachel Maddow.

I'm addicted to our locate progressive talk radio station, and she's amazing. She's been alternate host for Olberman's Countdown.
